When I enter the Chapel Puce – a psychological state sometimes induced by Discordian literature – I’m not sure whether I am being hindered or helped by an existential force, or whether it’s just a  product of my imagination, meaning I’ll leave either paranoid or agnostic.  Model agnosticism, or the firm belief in having no beliefs, is clearly a desired worldview but it’s difficult to quell the paranoia or “pronoia” when the serendipities and coincidences are mounting so close to home.

The Illustrated Woman

Leaving My Old Life Behind

A ten minute autobiographical film and sound scape, mapped over the artist’s body.

Visions of personal mythology covered head to toe unfold across the canvas, that both enrich and  curse real or phantom, marks upon the soul.

They smash him, but they know he’ll return,

Captain Scarlet! Indestructible!

scarletspikesThe famous TV show Captain Scarlet had a hidden subtext, the entire premise for the show was Christ allegory .Consider the following 1, Spectrum resides above the clouds( heaven).2,Captain White is the overseer (God)  3,Captain Black is the once beautiful fallen angel (Satan) 4, Captain Scarlet dies each episode only to be reborn (Christ). 5, Melody, Harmony, Rhapsody and Symphony have names that refer to music. Music is related to angels, and this is in fact what they are collectively referred to as.

Destiny Angel, Pack Leader, by Vicky Waters

“The first act of violence that patriarchy demands of males is not violence toward women. Instead patriarchy demands of all males that they engage in acts of psychic self-mutilation, that they kill off the emotional parts of themselves. If an individual is not successful in emotionally crippling himself, he can count on patriarchal men to enact rituals of power that will assault his self-esteem.”

No More Miss America

by the Collective of Rude and Unruly Women

Starring Mx Demonic Desire and Teresa Albor

Dealing with rude, disrespectful women requires patience, a calm state of being and a clear mind. You never know when you will run into a woman who is less than polite to you; demanding her way, cursing at you or just being generally rude. You also may simply be an observer who witnesses a woman being rude and disrespectful to somebody else. Whatever the case, knowing how to deal with rude, disrespectful women will prepare you for the next time you run into one.
